Arcadia Logistics Center Completed in Arcadia, CA

Arcadia Logistics Center is a three-building industrial park built for developer Yellow Iron Investments in Arcadia, CA. Totaling 698,894 square feet, the buildings are situated on 32 acres just south of the 210/605 freeway interchange, with nearby access to the 10 and 60 freeways as well as the Ports of Los Angeles and Long Beach.

Key features in each building include 32’ clear heights, 3% skylights, ESFR fire sprinklers, scrim foil insulation, 2,000-amp electrical service (upgradeable to 4,000), electronic lighting control system, galvanized doors and door frames and 185’ fully-secured truck courts. The project is LEED Silver certified with sustainable features such as water-efficient landscaping, low-emitting materials and quantity/quality control in the storm water design.

Site improvements include beautiful landscaping covering nearly 40% of the site, and three large detention basins. 351 total parking stalls are provided, including 36 designated for low emitting and fuel-efficient vehicles; additionally, each building offers two electric vehicle charging stations.

A site that began back in the 1950’s as entitled to mine over 10 million cubic yards of rock and sand, these raw materials were exported over the next 40 years via truck for concrete and other rock products. The site was purchased by Yellow Iron in the mid-2000’s with the intent to reclaim the land to its former condition. Over the past 10 years, millions of dollars have been invested into the site to properly place several million cubic yards of fill; this reclamation process concluded in 2016, when Fullmer Construction was chosen as general contractor for this project. Transforming the site into a gleaming addition the Southern California industrial market, Fullmer couldn’t be prouder of the end result or the new relationship built with Yellow Iron Investments.
