Cajon Industrial Park
Fullmer Construction recently completed a 335,460 square foot distribution facility in San Bernardino for Ares Industrial. Located just off the I-215 freeway, the building features an efficient layout and high-capacity infrastructure to support logistics operations.
The facility includes 5,696 square feet of office space, 40’ clear height, cross-dock loading, a secured 185’ concrete truck court, 92 dock-high doors, and 2 grade-level doors. It features an ESFR sprinkler system, 4,000 amps of power, 105 trailer parking stalls, and 133 auto parking spaces. The project is also pre-registered for LEED Gold certification, supporting sustainability goals.
This project came with its fair share of challenges. Installing the 12-inch water line through 180 feet of railroad right-of-way was especially difficult due to multiple design changes. Each change required review and approval from the railroad, resulting in repeated delays. Fortunately, these delays were anticipated and covered in the project schedule.
Despite the challenges encountered, the successful completion of the project resulted in a permanent water line installed on the west side of the tracks, providing essential infrastructure to support future building developments.
This project showcases our continued commitment to delivering high-quality, efficient, and forward thinking industrial spaces.
